"Just a quick side note: For a splash of winter color indoors. Take stem cuttings from forsythia. Bring indoors and place in a vase with water. Watch as the stems push their yellow flowers."

Plumbago

"Yes I know the plant well, they love our climate in Australia, a fast grower, will cover an old ugly fence in one season. Loves a good hair cut and then flowers again. It has a dormant period for a couple of months during winter, but stays alive."

Plumbago

"Keryn, This variety of plumbago will not survive zone 5 winters. I bring winter it over in amy attic in a sunny window. It isn't a vine more like a small shrub. I do have another hardier variety. It is a darker blue. Love them both."
