I am 5 weeks into recovery from the foot surgery now. I saw the doctor on Thursday he said the tootsies are looking good ! I go back in 2 weeks for an xray to see if the pin is in place and everything is healing around it. If the results are good then I get to try wearing a gymshoe Aka:Sneaker!
I am looking forward to getting out in the yard and planting again !

I had my first post op check a couple days ago. The Doc said the foot looks good no signs of infection !
Thank goodness !!!! I go back this Thursday for the stiches to be removed. As far as pain the days are not so bad but night time is a killer. It throbs all night long . So I haven't had much sleep. The doc said that was normal & would last for about 2 weeks . My husband hopes time flies ! I guess I am a little grumpy !
Not looking forward to all the rain forcast for this…

Surgery went well !

I am home now & the doctor said surgery went well ! He was able to get all of the Tumor out but had to put a permanant pin in my foot because he had to remove such a large section of bone. I'm not in any pain Yet.... The nerve block is still working and strong pain meds. Now we just say prayers that no infection sets in. He said that is one of the risks with this type of surgery.…
