"You sound about the same as me, I see a lot plants that in your pictures that also grow for me. However some winters we do get frosts, so I will have to wait and see about this winter."

Surviving Winter '14

"Thankfully, winter was warm for us this year. We had only a few days in the 50's for the high, and no lower that 40 for low, so the plants fared well."

Lileen... Zones location...Check the "HOME " page above.  I found my zone in a Flower Catalog or any flower web-site. Just type in your zip code and it gives you the Zone # for your area. Have you located the group for your HOME STATE ?  Maybe someone in the group could give you the info... Happy Gardening !

"We had an inch of rain last night, so I just went out to check that my new orchids did not get too wet. They are up against the house under the eves, it did get in a bit but not enough to worry about."
