"Ny Mom tried growing this but it was ugly - yours has such large, beautiful blooms! I think she didn't give it enough water or food! She is taking it out and going to grow a different variety! Too bad hers doesn't look…"

"I have Grandpa Ott whom I accuse of being a polygamist as he is very prolific - beautiful but I pull out hundreds every year - Heavenly Blue is my most favorite and plant him to grown among my sweet peas on my white picket fence, Love!

"This is beautiful - I never seem to get my moonflower going soon enough - I get wonderful foliage but it freezes before it produces flowers, maybe this year......."

If I can find black cherry tabs. here in podunk, TX (lol) I'll certainly try them. The only meds I'm on now for the gout is Motrin, 400 mg. tid and two tramadol at bedtime for pain. Doc gave me a steroid shot yesterday. I'd heard that cranberry juice was good also. I have to watch how much juices I drink because I'm also diabetic. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi Lissa, My compost tumbler, which I purchased 15 yrs ago here in Vt, hold most of my compost. I turn it regularely, as much as twice a day. I have the biggest one they make, so I need to empty it out twice in the summer. The company is in Vergennes, Vt. You probably could google 'compost tumblers' and I'm sure the company will pop up. If you really need the name of the company, send me a message and I'll 'dig it up'~~~Trudy

- Hi Lissa, thank you for your friendship. Thanks for your compliments on my gardens. I am an organic gardener, so I use absolutely no 'cides'. I compost kitchen scrapes and natural manure, grass clippings, etc.... My gardens are now 15 years old, I can't believe it already. I'm looking forward to getting out there, but the usually rain we've had is slowing the season down. Happy Gardening!~~~Trudy
