"I used a yellow crookneck squash as a corner foundation planting. It looked wonderful for a long while. You do need to plan ahead, because they will need a replacement after a while."

"You might try some Russian Olive. It can be pruned as a tree, but it makes a big shrub. Fragrant flowers, grows fast, and there are thorns--but not terrible. They can grow pretty fast, and the fragrance is wonderful."
Loren yes have to agree with trial and error it least I now know what grows best in my garden and can cross out the ones that dont. I had a great time finding out and had more good results than failures. I am enjoying the garden and having fun thankyou for your words of wisdom happy gardening!!!
