New South Wales Christmas Bush - Ceratopetalum gummiferum

"Mine is just flowering white, and then it turns pinkie as above and then too red. Out in flower for at least 4 months. Its a small evergreen tree, for a warm climate."

This used to always flower right on Christmas time, but due to the changing climate it now flowers and is gone well before Christmas arrives! This bunch is from my friend's rear garden. I don't have any luck getting these shrubs to flower!

What kind of gardening do you like to do?
Anything that keeps me out of doors and away from housework!! Currently have large vegie patch and also several various areas filled with roses, australian natives, annuals etc
How much time do you spend a week on average in your garden when weather permits?
Husband would probably say too much time. However there are never enough hours in the day for gardening. Bring on 24/7 daylight!!
What is your favorite plant ? Why?
No such thing as a favorite plant! I just love anything that is bright and adds some pizazz to my garden.
