I have work long and hard on my gardens i have more on my property but i have to take photo of them. in order to maintain them it is a constant dead heading and weeding and upkeep to maintain the plants health and beauty. I enjoy my plants and sitting in the areas, so relaxing and peacefull

We will have to compare notes about centerpieces. My daughter just got engaged and we are in the planning process but I am sure I will be involved with centerpieces also.

Oh I wish I knew more about lupines! I bought my first lupine plant this year, and he has done well. It is a shorter variety, I didn't realize that when I bought it. Oh well. So then I bought some seeds and got 12 little seedlings started. Well, seed-starting is not my forte, and now only 3 are alive! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will make it to next year.
I have been keeping the dead flowers picked off my lupine so I haven't actually seen any seeds yet. Gosh, I haven't been very helpful at all!

About the California poppies. Someone gave me a bag of seeds from a relative in CA. about 5 years ago. I planted some and gave back the rest. A few came up and they seem to reseed themselves every year since. They only come up in the sand along side the road...not in my flower bed. I can't believe they come up each year because they are subjected to salt, sand, snow plows etc. throughout the winter...but...they seem to survive and come up each spring. They bloom all summer.

I adore sweet woodruff. Pretty little flower in spring, great look when not in bloom, nothing seems to be interested in eating it and I do nothing to it. It also spreads nicely but is easy to tame back if you need to. I have mine in shade and it does really well.

Thanks for the kind words. January... Thats a tough one. Let me know what their colors are. I have an amazing floral book for cut flowers that might help if I sent you a list of possible winter choices. I's good to pick the flowers of the season for cost and durability. My daughter wants me to do hers too but I am not sure. It's a ton of work! I didn't even show the bouquets I made. They were evn more work. Maybe I'll just design everything and have someone else do them. Good luck and let me know if I can give you any suggestions

Hi! You are too funny! I love my ornaments too, they keep the garden company (lol) when there aren't enough blooms. Of course, feel free to copy anything! That could only be taken as a high compliment! Post some more when you decorate. (alot of things are yard sale finds and cheap antiques)
