"They are TBH top bar hives. It is a horizontal way of beekeeping. The bees draw out their own comb. I am beekeeping organically without any pesticides or chemicals!"

Clearwing Hummingbird Moth

"I have a dwarf pink powder puff tree in my backyard.  Earlier in the year I saw many of these.  Was so excited cause at first I thought they were hummingbirds.  Boy did they fool me!!"

Looks like Sulphur butterfly cats are your culprits. Not to worry, I am sure the plants will come back!
