Bulbs for Spring Show

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 4:37pm 0 Comments

So yesterday, I just up and decided to go to Lowes and buy a ton of tulip bulbs, thalia daffodils, grape hyacinth, and those big purple alliums. This will be my first time preparing for a spring show and I am really excited about it. There are so many color/varieties of tulips and of course I want them all, but I chose a darwin hybrid mix (yellow, pink, orange/red) and black (queen of the night). Sorry Melissa I did not answer you as I  just saw your comment. Thank you for being so nice. I started with annuals and then planted zinnias from seed. I am experimenting with perenials so it is not so much work. I try to have something come up for every season (except winter LOL).   Sometimes I am lucky and this year was a difficult year, because of animals eating everything, even the marigolds.
