Harvesting and preserving

We are getting the most wonderful harvest this year.  We are sharing a lot of it but would also like to keep some for ourselves for future use.  We are making tomato sauce and canning it.  I have made dill pickles from the cucumbers.  I have an overabundance of string beans but not sure what prep work to do prior to freezing them.  Does anybody know? See More

I find that my Lobellia plants seem to be the best for drawing the Hummers. I also have BeeBalm, Keys of Heaven and they also seem to enjoy the "Millions of Bells," in red. I used to have some Penstemon plants (red again) that they see to like. Often they also go to the Coneflowers and it doesn't seem to matter what color of them.
