My Square foot garden

The weather has been nice here so last week I went ahead and planted a few garden veggies on Good friday. I like a challenge and want to see how it does. I put out seed for kolorabi, 3 types of radish, romaine and bibb lettuce, loose leaf blend lettuce, beets, spinach and onion sets. Hi Nancy! I came across your blog & enjoyed reading of your success with your red pepper and your Roma seeds sprouting. I saved some seeds from a few jalapenos and bell peppers and started them on March 18th in peat pots with a bunch of other stuff. To date, they haven't sprouted. I'm using a grow light to aid germination. Someone told me that store-bought veggies won't sprout. However, yours obviously did so I am wondering if I stored them wrong. I removed the seeds from the veins & put in a little cup in the kitchen window until they dried, put in a plastic bag & left in a drawer. I didn't seal the bag, I figured that might wreck them. Do you think I did something wrong or does this method just take longer than usual? Thank you for any help! -Jolene, Zone 4, Elk River, MN
