I am president of the local cactus club and am in the water garden society. Most of my cactus, at least 500 go in the house or greenhouse each winter. I do have a lot of hardy plants also. My main project is my mini-prairie, in one section of my yard. Just trying to make that small an area naturalized, more or less, is not easy, may take a few years. Enjoy.

"I used to take mine in for the winter and store in the garage.  A couple of years ago, I planted in my beds and left them out all winter.  They did much better.  I'm a Zone 5 in South/Central Indiana - Seymour. "
