"What type of flower is this? A lily of some sort? I believe it's the same flower an artist friend of mine posted on his photography page, covered with rain drops. It's gorgeous!!!"

Garden Today

The pink (Iceland) Tulips are up and I wonder if a bit of frost got them. This is their first year so I'll have to wait and see. I like all the combinations in this bed....I actually found two tomatoe plants and a Maple tree in there. I'll have to transplant them but it's getting cool and looks like it may rain any second.See More

Not enough yet, but this will change now that I'm laid off and trying to work for myself.

Veggies and the Child In ME

Posted on April 28, 2011 at 12:05am 2 Comments

I spent the past 2 days planting veggies in pots. Assorted lettuce, cucumbers, garden beans, zuchinni and onions. I'm fairly sure I wont need to plant tomatoes because they have come up on their own every year since we moved in. All types, including grape vine tomatoes that grew up our chimney last year. That's one of the interesting things about living in a rowhome.Birds, squirrels and probably wind and rain bring interesting things to each… Continue

I dont seem to be able to add photos here without them getting HUGE!! LOL.

We had an absolutely beautiful Easter Sunday here in Berks County, Pa. Warm, sun and clouds. Since my oldest daughter and her husband wont be able to get here until tomorrow, Jennifer (my youngest) and I enjoyed the garden and cleaned up a bit inside. We both do artsy/ crafty things so it gets a little dangerous…

It was a nice idea to meke a memory bench for your cat. I´m the cat lover as well, so I can undertand that. It´s lovely.
