Hi Penelope, I see you enjoy books as well. Do your read everything or is it mainly gardening? Did you happen to see my video, or did you see a review on Amazon? Do you own the same books? I am new to gardening and am becoming obsessed. I belong to several gardening sites, plus my own, so when not in the garden I am scurrying around on the web talking about gardening. Any suggestions for landscaping a large area in yellows, greens, reds, some lavender? I have one side left to do and then the terraces, but one area at a time.

just saw your comment on my veggie garden, I've actually been looking into esparie, we recently started a pyracantha on one side and the west side is covered in grapes.
