"One thing you want to do for squash bugs if find their egg clusters and destroy them. They'll be on the underside of leaves (usually), and just a cluster of dark amber colored eggs. Take off the whole leaf and 'squash' those babies…"

Hi Rabecca!
Nice to meet you. Sorry it took me so long to get to the PC today. My neighbor threw away a bunch of old louvered closet doors, and he'd already cut them in half; I built 3 raised beds out of them. I figured I saved hubby close to $700 using the recycled wood, instead of buying new wood like I had planned. If you get a chance, come check out the pictures. I'm about to download them now.

"I used to take mine in for the winter and store in the garage.  A couple of years ago, I planted in my beds and left them out all winter.  They did much better.  I'm a Zone 5 in South/Central Indiana - Seymour. "
