I'm basically a perennial gardener so I really cann't prune much back utill it finnishes blooming. I also like to over plant to keep the weeds at bay. But I do love the whimsy when all the plants are small. Today I felt like I was out in the forrests of the NW everything here is so green and raining.

Your whimsy art really can get to you. My aunt in Co. has some farm yard art that I fell in love with too. I end up sticking to gazia balls and bird baths and little animals and birds. It probably doesn't matter everything has grown taller then my wimsies anyway. Loved yor pics and your whimsies. THANKS

Great Idea with the automotive paint. It is to bad that you don't live closer, would love to watch you in action. Thank you very much for the detailed description, maybe I can try something like that in a few years from now when I am done with college and maybe have some extra money. You, however, keep creating your wonderful art pieces and keep sharing the pics with us please.

I was look thru several albums on this site and came across yours. Your photo's are BEAUTIFUL. I can tell you put thought into each photo submitted. Any one could be a piece of art hanging in a museum. Magnificient. Thank you for capturing such beauty.

I have Dan's 2 books...some really interesting plants in there, many not in the trade yet, but guess that means we have more good things to look forward to. Heronswood was the finest nursery to walk through that I've ever been in, and I've been in quite a few. Plant Delights is superb but not on the scale of Heronswood and White Flower Farm is a nice place to stroll as well.

How absolutely FUN and enjoyable. Can i come visit? How many acres are you blessed with? I think I have had dreams about gardens like this....and being an artist myself with a mother who paints and brother who does iron sculpture, i appreciated all aspects of your creations. Thanks so much for sharing
