My baby's breath isn't invasive, but I have seen it at the sand dunes along lake Michigan covering the side of the dune. When they are in bloom it is quite pretty.

I cut the hostas back over the weekend and was able to get the leaves off the grass for the second time. A lot to do to get ready for the Michigan winters

The leaves are so heavy this year that I am recruiting helpers I need to get them off the grass. I have a hard time keeping a nice lawn.
This weekend I am going to work on putting my hostas to bed for the winter first I will cut them back. The frost we had gave them a good wilt and some still have flowers. The flowers can be cut and make a bouquet out of them for the house.

You'll have to post a few photos of Claire's sister. Your garden photos are very nice, well, all of the photos are very nice. The birds in the trees, the mushrooms and etc. I'm partial to the dog photos and Claire on the mound of snow with the older dog; it is precious. I hope things are working out with your new BFF.

I only have the purple spiderwort and just love them. It gets so hot (zone 8) here that about this time they don't stand tall so I just chop them down. They are really pretty in the early sping.
