"Bantam I think means "small". We just got 6 Rhode Island Reds and they are just now 5 or 6 weeks old now.

"Elizabeth...I'd get them into the ground soon. Tease the roots if wrapped. They love rich soil & moisture. Cut them back when the stocks turn mushy after the freezes; almost to the ground. If happy they'll come back for you each year!"
