Being new to this site and having a love for growing things, I am thankful their is a place for plant and garden lovers. Does anyone know how to keep a poinsettia healthy? My sister has one/help.

Hi Sandra nice to meet you! Thank you so much for writing.
No Gizmo is a Peekingeese Papillon (Pap-y-on)
I got him a year a go on CRaigs lst. He just turned 9 and he is the joy of our lives.
I got him from a family in New Hamsphire who had a little 3 year old and anew one on the way and he was a biter if you took hs cheerios or bones and he has biten me pretty seriously over hs peripheral vision until I figured it out that he becomes startled and suprised and just sees rage and fear. Now he is fne that we know this, no more biting.
But we were told he was just Peekingeese and a freind who is a vet asst told us definilty a Paillion mix, the groomer calls him a Peekingon to be funny.
I never heard of the Japanese you mentioned. They must be wonderful. Do you have any pictures of it?
Anyway Thanks for the add I hope you enjoy this nice weekend, hopefully it is where you are too :)
