"How Sandy, how is the gardening going this year? I got out for the first time in awhile and worked in the yard due to the hot temps. Everything seems to be doing okay, but the grass has been stressed of course."

"Am getting anxious to get into the garden. The snow is still piled 2 feet deep, I am worried about all the salt and sand they put on the street washing into the flower beds. Looking forward to a warmer 40 degree plus weekend."

Hi, Sandy

Are you getting your hands dirty playing in the soil?

Love it these temps are just great and everything looks so beautiful after such a long winter. Love the spring bulbs and the flowering tree's, just can't get enough of taking it all in.

Hi, Sandy

Great to hear back from you, thank you so much for the compliment, it is a labor of love that we started in memory of my son Shawn, and it's continued to grow and grow, adding new plants every year. I have a lot of plants, bushes and trees that producre fruit and seeds for the birds and squirels. My son loved nature, so it's dedicated to what he would have loved. I love going out different times of the day and taking pictures as well and make cards out of the digital prints.

I am afraid what it is going to look like in my parking area flower bed, too much snow to tell yet. Will you have to take all the gravel & rocks out of the bed when it gets nice enough to get out there? You will probably end up with quite a bit. I am just hoping we don't lose plants like we did last winter, just hoping the snow instilated them but just enough so they could breath. Bellevue has the most beautiful landscaping in their parks and boulevards and properties. I have went to several garden walks in Bellevue and belonging to a garden club have met some of the people who are avid garders there. They have a beautiful garden area's at Hayworth Park in Bellevue, we camp there in the camping season and noticed that it is kept up by the Bellevue Garden Club. My husband lived in Bellevue and went to school at Bellevue East growing up.

What kinds of gardening do you like?

Thanks Sandy. I saw a biblical garden located within the botanic gardens once, in Denver, CO. It was beautiful, but I didn't write down a single plant. That was over 10 years ago and have wanted one ever since. I think I better follow thru...God might be speaking to me. Thanks for the plant tip. I'm going to google-image it now.

In Christ's name,
