Here in Nebraska we are finally seeing some evidence of Spring, we've had a pretty mild winter with only two major snowfalls and hope we get some rain in the spring as we will need it. We've had a major grass fire along the interstate which tells me it is pretty dry out and conditions right for a grass fire. I know the last I hear the water level was down 3 inches this winter and may be more than that in some spots, won't be long until we are out preparing the garden for spring plantings of vegetables. We are going to do raised beds this year as it will be much easier to take care of. Happy Gardening to all here in the Midwest.

Thanks for the intelligence credit, Sherry, but I must admit I made 3 attempts to log on to the site before I finally decided to click on the amount to see if I could figure something out.  (I am NOT going to pay for being on the site) I noticed the zero's on the list and clicked on it figuring nothing would happen if it said zero!  What the heck, give it a try!!  hahaha.   WHen all else fails, go for the gusto!

Thank you so much for thinking of me to send the lily bulb, it will be fun growing it!  (I only hope it NEVER decides to bloom during winter time!!!!!  !)

Hi, Sherry. I have memorial plantings around the garden. Have just started being able to almost enjoy gardening again after the death of my lovely Daughter, DeAnna. I am going to dedicate a bed to her, but the plans are in my head only still, and I have a lot of removing & selling of  beautiful bearded purple Iris rhizomes. I have patches everywhere that started from 2 rhizomes. They need dividing again, and I just have too many. I would be happy to give anyone some if they would send a S.A.S.E., padded of course. I would provide the materials to keep it healthy for the trip. I will search my i-photo for a picture of them as I don't know the cultivar, as they were a gift someone gave my husband at work. (I wish they would recognize words that are spelled correctly, instead of underlining them, it is kind of annoying)

Sherry. How do you get your page to automatically show a slide show of your photos? I went into settings and customize and couldn't find the correct option. Thanks ahead of time if you can help, and thanks for the great photos.

Your welcome Sherry, thank you for accepting me as a friend.  Actually I live in a rural area that used to be Murphy NE  it is 5 miles west of Aurora and 7 miles east of Phillips.  The closet city is Grand Island which is 20 miles west on HWY 34.
