We had the wettest May on record. We have had the driest of seasons. Late summer and Fall have been so dry. We have had very little to no rain for nearly three months. We have the World Equestrian Games here and the state is just brown from the drought. It's strange. The garden is nearly nothing. Without the ground table of water, watering every day is expensive and time consuming. We are watering our old over story trees to keep them from stressing too much. Continue

Strawberries were coming on before we left on vacation. We were eating lettuces, cabbages, broccoli, some beets, and onions. I am hoping to have the leeks, fennel, and beets ready upon return.
