- I cut oranges in half and have lots of red and pink flowers. They really like our orange trumpet vine. Some body told me we surly have more than 3 but our gardens are spread out on 6 acers. We have 7 bird feeders in our big maple tree and the finchs come in flocks. They are a blast year round; the neighbors ask how do you get them? Hang a rainbow finch feeder and they will come.
