The small pink flowers are dianthus, possibly also called cheddar pinks. They have very little root system...mostly just lie on the ground. The only one I've seen lately in mail order is brighter pink.

Beautiful gardens! We had an Ayredale for 12 years. Miss her deeply, although she was a lot of trouble. We're in a new built in Amherst. Check out my blof on a rainy day.
