"The frost hit my Royal standatrd Hostas last week and they have not recovered. They opened early due to early spring heat here in Zone 5, but it is Michigan, ya know. The varigated ones were not harmed."

"Yes, forget me nots and tulips up now, hosta's poking out, peonies ready for staking, sedum will doing great without me. I allow one sedum to stand thru the winter for the birds. I will send pictures soon."

"I used to take mine in for the winter and store in the garage.  A couple of years ago, I planted in my beds and left them out all winter.  They did much better.  I'm a Zone 5 in South/Central Indiana - Seymour. "
