"I have all kinds of old garlic that moved with me & some 75% off from Bi-Mart. Shoved a bunch into the big blue pots and still have an other batch to plant somewhere. Planted more long time ago in the herb garden along the back."
"William I hear you was reading Burpee prices on puter the other day. Elephant garlic was $15 for 1/2 oz and it said the bulbs weighed one oz. so you wouldn't even get one whole one. I also asked them why online is so much more expensive than…"
"Yes I do like my sunsets here, thank-you. You have a nice stand of red Dianthus. I'm into edible flowers too. How do you keep the bugs out of your Columbine? Any time I ever grew them they got all full of bugs, since you can't eat them I…"

Hiya Vicky! Thanks for the post on my page. Hey, that other old houseplant group has a moderator/creator that has been inactive for two years, so I made a new group where we can make sure the moderator is active. It just got approved, so please join and let folks know. It'll be good to have a group with a moderator who is active on Garden-Share still. I just made some of your banana bread by the way, thanks again for the recipe. Happy gardening!
As I said...I must be slow.... I have participated on many forums but I just can't figure out how to navigate here... I will try for a while, but really....I garden 12 acres, have hoyas and a life...don't know if there's time to figure this out....

Hi, thanks for responding. They came up lovely and healthy. They flowered and then the flowers didn't turn into beans. I did everything I thought was correct according to all info. It was my 1st try at beans. The vine continued to grow and flower. I asked if I needed the Rhizobium for success and was told I didn't. So, I will of coarse try again. I tied them in as the vine grew, but by August I had to just tend to the rest and wait for this season.
"I hear you, Lynda, regarding getting out in the garden whenever you can. Sorry to hear you are dealing with some health issues but it looks like you don't let that get in the way of creating beauty in your garden."
"Charlotte, I do feel blessed that my husband shares my passion for gardening. Your harsh climate in Oklahoma does make it especially challenging for you, but I'm guessing it also makes gardening even more rewarding when your efforts pay off."
"Well, you are lucky that your husband enjoys gardening with you. My husband keeps telling me that I'm never finished and he's right; I will continue to add beds because I enjoy lush landscapes. Living in Oklahoma is tough…"
