Grant Meyer USDA zone 9 said… Hiya Vicky! Thanks for the post on my page. Hey, that other old houseplant group has a moderator/creator that has been inactive for two years, so I made a new group where we can make sure the moderator is active. It just got approved, so please join and let folks know. It'll be good to have a group with a moderator who is active on Garden-Share still. I just made some of your banana bread by the way, thanks again for the recipe. Happy gardening!

It is strange being that I plant almost exclusively for the benefit of wildlife. I have bees aplenty of many kinds. I will plant much earlier this season and try, try again.
Hi, thanks for responding. They came up lovely and healthy. They flowered and then the flowers didn't turn into beans. I did everything I thought was correct according to all info. It was my 1st try at beans. The vine continued to grow and flower. I asked if I needed the Rhizobium for success and was told I didn't. So, I will of coarse try again. I tied them in as the vine grew, but by August I had to just tend to the rest and wait for this season.
