Hiya Vicky! Thanks for the post on my page. Hey, that other old houseplant group has a moderator/creator that has been inactive for two years, so I made a new group where we can make sure the moderator is active. It just got approved, so please join and let folks know. It'll be good to have a group with a moderator who is active on Garden-Share still. I just made some of your banana bread by the way, thanks again for the recipe. Happy gardening!

Hi, thanks for responding. They came up lovely and healthy. They flowered and then the flowers didn't turn into beans. I did everything I thought was correct according to all info. I tied them in as the vine grew, but by August I had to just tend to the rest and wait for this season.
"Interestingly, we've grown daturas for MANY years and have never seen tomato hornworms on them (although we have frequently had them on our tomatoes). Knock on wood -- we didn't see any of those vile things this summer!"
"Thanks! They're smaller than modern fancy hybrids, and they usually appear in pairs instead of fours, BUT they DO appear quite a few times a year so that makes up for it. I've pollinated it many many times and have only gotten…"
