MJ Seibert, Zone 5 said… - If the seeds are inside the rotting pumpkin, then yes, it can produce multiple plants come spring. I'd separate the seeds out and plant them in a sunny place. If you have corn planted in your garden, some people pair the two and the vines will crawl the corn's stalks.
