indoor growing problem. help?

Posted on May 5, 2009 at 5:44pm 1 Comment

last year when i planted things indoors it didnt work...they got spindly and even though i bought a fan it still didnt work so well. (i have a grow light here too) and i realized it was pointless trying to copy nature and better to arrange things so that i could plant outside in containers (my plan this year.).

so my question is this: if i plant indoors and then wait until the first sign of germination and THEN move the plant outside will i avoid all of the problems associated with… Continue

Z,

HOW does your garden grow?

BEEN working so hard on re building the water fall.

NOTHIGN has happened with the crane. Today I saw a huge hawk fly over my pond. I jsut wondered if he could be on a suhi diet also.

HOW long before they go away? I HATE this fence around the pond.

I htought I would find some plastic Christmas ornaments and hand them on a wire and stretch it across the pond. I have been tols shinny things scared the birds away. WHAT do you think?

ALSO I have too many birds coming to my house for a bath and spalsh. TOO my poop EVERY WHERE!

ANY advice?

I have the gulf fritillary quite often too but not as much as the monarchs, they love my yard. I have the occasional [referred to as fly bys]sulpher, red admiral -awesome, white peacock, viceroy, swallowtails, and whew that is all I can think at the moment . What about you? I am from KY too and last year at mom's there were thousands of swallowtails on her mimosa tree! It was truly amazing! have a great day!

I thought the blog as shown is interesting. Non digging garden. It has gotten so hot here and my downstairs air is broken. Thank goodness there's a breeze down the street from the bayou. My son has gotten into gardening with me now and we've done a lot lately. He moved in after our Hurricane ruined his apartment. He has a daughter who is about to have a baby so I'm almost a great grandma. We're going to build a "treehouse" for my g kids.
