So we have gone frome 50 to 95 degress in just a matter of days. The sunflowers are loving the warm weather today. They are about 4 inches tall now. Can't wait til their 10 feet!

Was hoping to have a day of spreading mulch and weeding, but it is just too dang chilly here in Utah! It's been about 50 degrees all day. However, my sunflowers are sprouting out of the ground (yeah!) and my compost is doing very well. I have been aerating and turning it every day. I tried Melody's advice of orange peel to help keep away the pesty gnats and it is working like a charm. Should have my first batch of compost pretty soon. I'm excited! And who knows, maybe tomorrow will be a warm… Continue

It is not just something you enjoy, it looks like you have a passion for it! Its similar to gardening. We are always trying to improve and we never quite feel like we have arrived. It's sometimes hard to find the balance between being content and the discontentment. Keep up the good work!
