I keep plenty busy:
Start vegetables and annuals indoors in plugs with a heat mat.
Transplant plugs to pots.
Cold hardy vegetables gets carried outside during the day, things like cabbage broccoli and other kohl crops, parsley, lettuce, spinach, kale.
Warm-season vegetables gets transplanted into bigger pots and go under lights or in sunny windows until it is warm outside (This is how I grow okra in Wisconsin.)
Spring blooming shrubs get a tiny hair cut so…

At conferences this winter, many companies are coming out with functional, biodegradable pots.
The only thing don't like about gardening is the plastic pot waste. Hooray for solutions!!!!
