"Lovely special place...blue table is charming!  Never thought of a brick patio spot like this, it'd be easy to mow around, too!  Love brick for anything in the yard...paths, steps, porches, walkways, etc."

The latest pond I created was for a friend, she said to use my imagination , so I did. Her back yard was a grassy area , an old tree was to come down , I told her leave it about 8' high and I would create something with it.....hence a bench with pots and baskets hanging from the treee stump. Then I took an old wash tub and screwed it to the top of the stump , filled it with dirt and then added yellow Lantana and red Gerianiums to finish the area. Behind the stump are herbs. Continue

Thanks, Joseph (or Joe?)! When my daughters were small, this was their playhouse. They've long outgrown it, and it really comes in handy to store tools and other gardening misc. And...it conveniently hides the compost pile I have directly in back of it! Unfortunately, I think the only thing that's holding it up are the ivy vines. It's on the verge of collapse (lol!).

Most of us it takes years to find the right combinations and that is always changing! You have beautiful gardens! Keep up the good work. Welcome to GI.
