If you have a south-facing area near your home you can probably grow zone 6 plants. My Mom used to have Moss Rose come back from seed next to the house every year.

Hi Jule,

Thank you for the wonderful comments. I have enjoyed gardening for a long time but only started outside about 4 years ago. I always had inside plants and took note that I seem to have that :green thumb". My daughter took the pictures with her digital camera and it helps with the apeearance if it has just rained.(smile).

The flower is an orchid, one of my many houseplants, my only orchid, tho they are really easy to grow.
I'll add photos soon as I figure it out and have the extra moments!
Hope to chat with you again on the index! Pam

Hi Julie. I saw your pictures and noticed that you love irises too. I love all the perennials, but I have to admit that the irises are my favorites! I think it's because there are literally thousands of varieties. And when a new one blooms i am always in awe of God's creativity. It's raining here right now, so there will be no gardening today. I hope to see you again on index and I hope you have abundant blooms in your garden! Kay
