Glad you liked the succulents. I am VP of local Cactus and Succulent Society. About 500 of my plants go in the greenhouse during winter. The worst thing for them during the growing season is a week or two of rain. I've lost a few favorites to rot during these times. Have to keep an eye on these and bring them into shelter during long rain episodes. If you're ever back here give me a shout.

Hi Karen,
The moss is year round; it looks lush and green when it has enough moisture, when it dries out the "leaves" fold up along the stem and generally has a greenish-brown tint to it. It amazes me that the moss can go for long periods during the summer without water then quickly turn into a lush velvety carpet within minutes of recieving water.
