"Not a pine tree, but related. It's some type of Cycad. Conifers (which a Pine is) belongs in the family of Gymnosperms. So do Cycads, Gingko and other cone bearing plants like Ephedra. Cycads are ancient. Precursors to Conifers.

Thanks so much from all my garden share freinds for all their support during the passing of my beloved husband, Jerry, I miss him a lot..For now I am still in Tennessee, the weather has been real cold, looking forward to returning to Flordia sometime in Feb..Have had lots of calls and letters from freinds at the park where my motorhome is still there...waiting for my return..I was walking my dog snowey and found on lonely buttercup in my garden.. I picked it and brought in the house,…

WE FINNALLY MADE IT TO PALMETTO FLORDIA, NICE 55 PLUS PARK, MEETING LOTS OF NICE FREINDS, GOING TODAY TO GET TOMATOE PLANTS AND FLOWERS, LOWES HAVE LOTS OF ALL KINDS, SO FUNNY BACK IN TENNESSEE, WINTER HAS ARRIVED AND NO VEG OR PLANTS TILL NEXT YEAR, HERE SO WONDERFUL TO BE ABLE TO HAVE ALL THESE PLANTS AND VEGGIES ALL YEAR ROUND. Bonnie Hannum ~ Missouri, USA said… You're welcome, Margaret, although I don't think I was much help...the one I found online in NC seemed to be pretty pricey, and the ones in TX where my friends stay are too far away.....
I hope you can find one closer so you're not too far away from your sisters and son and daughter.... I'll keep scouting and forward anything that looks more fitting for you.
Do any of the ones in FL look like possibilities? (I say, forget the RV, go camp on the beach and be beach-bums!! Soak up the sun!! haha! Just joking...)
