Hi Rosealie, I'm sorry you are leaving the board. I've only posted a couple of times because I am a very very bad gardner because I have to work 7 days a week, but I so enjoy seeing all the effort put in by others. I only have a few plants…
I want to thank the two of you for commenting to me. I have made many comments and in Sharing wrote a story about a garden experience. I have felt invisable here. I have posted photos of my garden and responded to others when I had something to add.…
I love this color. Can you tell me the name? I have a large garden and I want to have a concentration of Irises and roses (miniature). If you look at my photos you will see no irises. But I do have some that are happily growing and one has three…
I just watched your video and enjoyed it. I have been asked by friends to put a pond in my backyard. A pond + a golden retriever is just not a good idea. So I am working on a perennial garden. With a few annuals added. Actualy I am adicted to…
I do not live close to either of you but it might be closer by the end of the week when the bridge opens. I hope it does as I may have a doctor's appointment in Seattle.
I spend lots of time in my garden and seem to be adicted to buying plants.…
I love to plant and I love to surounded by colors and I keep creating more places to plant flowers. I do not plant vegetables, except for a tomato plant whose tomatoes will ripen in December. I plant all kinds of plants and prefer perinials. I am not happy about some Dahilas I planted and swear to bring all bulb plants in the garage this spring.Except Irises who do very well. The trees I planted are higher than the house-even the ones I got for $6.00. I love color and by the way I do have lots of space for plants and still I am running out of room.
How much time do you spend a week on average in your garden when weather permits?
Good Question. Now that we had a day of spring, I plan on a few hours a day. It is a beautiful place to be and I have a laptop so that I can write and nor only have my garden I have privacy and my v=best friends - Daisymae (4 year old English Golden Retriever and Webster the fat black cat with me.
my comment on my comment
(I can't believe the errors made in that statement. I could have used spell check - even eye ball check. I am having problems with my fingers . Diabetes is not helpful. But I do hope anyone who tried to read the above statement could understand what I was saying,)
Hi Rosealie, I'm sorry you are leaving the board. I've only posted a couple of times because I am a very very bad gardner because I have to work 7 days a week, but I so enjoy seeing all the effort put in by others. I only have a few plants that come up every year, and for the first time I planted green beans in my flower boxes. I know that sould silly, but with full sun, thats all i could think of that wouldn't fry in heat. I'm hoping to learn something here by reading everyones posts, so that someday when I have the time and money, I may be able to have a really nice garden.
Hi!
The bush with the white balls is a "Snowball" Viburnum. I call it my "Ignorance" bush. LOL My mom had a Viburnum in her yard, and the blossoms were delicate, pink, and oh so fragrant. So my second year in my house I went to the nursery and bought the first bush I saw that said "Viburnum" on it. Well, I got the wrong one. I got the one with the snowballs, and it doesn't have any fragrance at all )-=
How is it at the other end of America? I'm only about an hour from Montauk Point, on Long Island; almost the end of the Earth. LOL
Hi! I am new to this as of today. I love your photos!! I will have to try to be more creative with my pictures! Her name is Cupcake. She is a Golden/Sheltie and was only 2.3 lbs when she found me. Now she is almost 7 years old and about 45 lbs lol.
I will have to take some pictures of my garden. It is very simple because I work 7 days a week.
You live where I want to live! Do you read Debbie Macomber books? They take place in a place called Port Orchard WA.
Keep taking beautiful pictures!!
Chris
