"that's a great idea...rabbits are a problem in my neighborhood--we even have to avoid flowers that they feed on! One year, they EVEN ate a flower bed of marigolds (but just once)! and, the marigolds came back! I have some seeds that have leaves…"

Hello Sheila,
It's November and I finally have time to take a break. What a summer we had. Most of it was good for my garden but at times the dry spell had me watering. I attached some pics of the veggie garden. I hope you get some rest now that it's finally Fall. I just finished splitting my perennials and turning my veggie garden over. I get about a week before I put in bulbs and cold weather crops. Hope all is well.

I have been gardening all my life. My mom always had a big garden and we all helped.
Now that my kids are mostly grown up, I plant more flowers, than vegetables. but I still do lots of tomatoes, potatoes and then miscellaneous other veggies. I also have a large raspberry patch. Over the last few years i have tried strawberries. As you can see by the pictures I have posted I am trying to do strawberries in my greenhouse, hoping to get some berries instead of feeding the birds. Unfortunately I am not retired yet so my time in the garden is limited.
