I have had flower roots totally eaten by voles and moles.  I thought it was deer, but the wrong end was gone.

This is my first time to reply to anybody.  I don't really know what I am doing.  Bacterial wilt could be the cause.  Plants wilt and die rapidly without yellowing or having spots on the follage.  To help you see…

I pick the leaves and brew them with my tea. It gives it a great lemon flavor. It's hot or cold. You can also cook them with fish. I also love the smell.

Plants destroyed at roots

Earlier this year something attacked my zuchinni squash at the roots and the big beautiful plants died. I returned a week ago from vacation the same thing had happened to my tomatoes. Does anyone know what this might be and how I can prevent it next year. The tops of the plants were beautiful but the bottoms and roots were mush.I live in south AlabamaSee More

I don't know about cilantro but I pinched off the spindly part of my mint and it is doing very well. Be VERY careful. It will take over your garden if it gets going.

I read that if you let it flower, the leaves will not taste the same. I am going to try putting it in a jar with sea salt. I have frozen some but haven't used it yet

I have just joined this group because I want to plant some herbs. Is lemon balm invasive like mint? I am so glad I read all these post because I would have just planted it in my garden.

Your magnolia is absolutely beautiful. I planted one e years ago and every year during the winter it looks like it is dead. Then it comes back out but has no flowers. I try to protect it. Any suggestions?

Hi Shirley, I received a clump of iris from my daughter-in law and just planted them. Last fall I dug some up and moved them as the clump was getting to big. How deep did you plant them? I don't think iris like to be planted to deep.
