Whoa! I was out weeding near one of my Pine Trees @ suppertime, & all of a sudden it got dark, dusty, & windy! The trees were bending! 55 to 65 mile an hour winds we had. Lots of blowing rain, but oddly no thunder or lightning with this one! Cedar Rapids has many trees down & lots of the traffic lights aren't working still, but WE still have our power...and our trees stayed in tact, although lots of branches down & some of my sunflowers are bent over! Darn! Gotta go out now & survey what got hit & what was spared! This storm came in fast & left just the same! Still a little dark & now thundering, but not as scarey as before, cause I ran inside when it came through...my hat is still out there! ha! later, Kenda
