Brandywine Heirloom Tomatos and Basil planted!

I planted the Brandywine tomatoes that I started from seeds I saved from last years tomatoes. I also planted about a dozen baby basil plants - can't wait for tomato, basil salad!

Bruce got all my hoses hooked up so I can set out the soaker hoses - but I hope we get rain soon - rainwater is best! I've used half my rain barrel water - so I'm ready for rain!

The Three sisters garden is growing - the beans and squash have started to grow. I did a dumb thing - I wanted to put some straw on it to keep it from drying out - but had none, so used dried grass clippings - WHAT was I thinking? Now I have lots of grass sprouting - dang!

"Thank you! This clematis just loves being in the garden in front of our house. She has bloomed every year now for almost 10 years!"
