Progress has been made to my english garden.. Two of my baby roses bloomed. Also added some plants to fill in. I think as it get established it will get better.

I believe  verigated hostas do  better in  full sun..

Thanks everyone.. I will look for lavender this season.. Prices on flowers seem to have droped a little. By end of season the other floers should !!! grow up ..

Eloise, next year plant lavendar. I love the stuff, looks very English garden. And at the end of the season, I harvest it and make sachets. It smells wonderful! I think it would be perfect for your English garden, which looks FANTASTIC!

I agree with Maris. I planted tiny starter perennials last year and this year they're huge and have filled in very nicely. By next year your English garden will be gorgeous! Do the hostas that you planted tolerate full sun? I had to move a few of mine into part shade last year because they were getting too much sun and it fried the leaves.
