So I ran out in the pouring, freezing rain last night and in my socks to boot.. no, no boots, just socks. I guess I could've taken the time to put on boots, but all I could think about was my baby yellow Lantana, mom's Potato Bush, purple and red Salvia, ornamental Sage, Lipstick plant, Ice plants and Raspberries. With a pile of newspaper and bags, I ran around the yard covering them all up. I was soaked thru and thru, my hair plastered to my head and FREEZING but you know what? I was relieved. Now I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. There are some things you just can't replace like mom's Potato Bush...
