Fifteen Feet of Soil Sifted and Carrot Seeds Planted!

Another beautiful day! I planted the four apricot pansies I'd almost forgotten about, as well as a dozen lettuce seedlings I started in April.

I dug out a row six inches deep and eighteen feet long and sifted the soil. I think we could open a gravel mine if we get tired of growing veggies. I added some bone meal to the bottom of the trench, sifted the soil back in and planted Chardonnay carrot seeds in the row.

So great to have my hands in the dirt!
