First freeze
Had our first freeze a few days ago. What I love about that first time, is to take a walk through the woods and listen to all the green leaves left on many trees---fall. Sounds like rain. My dog and I did just that the other morning. I had many photo ops but Hogan is persistent in moving on and smelling and seeing and checking things out. So many things still I would like to get done out in the garden but too many other things calling to me. Today my oldest baby turns 26. My second born bought a fixer upper house and I have been working there many hours in between working at our rental properties. And soon I will have surgery yet again on my total knee replacement. So, much anxiousness and stress and nervousness and and and....well, I guess if I have so much to do I should get doing it. Sun is shining and I feel blessed on this day to be able to do all the things I do do.

I love the sound of the wind in the leaves. But, I went to let the dogs out and it was so quiet last night. No chirping crickets :( Oh well, getting ready to hunker down for winter. Good luck on your surgery!
