Today I weeded my garden... mostly... one of the flower beds has been taken over by some sort of wild morning glory. There are millions of them!

With all the rain we have been getting it was fairly easy to get the weeds out of the ground. Except for the dandelions, but they are will always be a problem. Is it weird that I kind of like them? They just seem so happy.
Speaking of rain.... there is a crazy thunderstorm outside that seems to be impeding my gardening... Oh well... the weeds will always be there tomorrow.

All the basil plants I had didn't die so I planted them in the garden next to where there are supposed to be chives... but all that is there right now is grass and various small plants that are unidentifiable. The same goes for the Oregano. The parsley, cilantro, and dill seem to be growing well. Funny how I didn't really want those three herbs as badly...

The Pumpkins are cruising right along and will probably beat the frost. In fact I think they are growing the best out of all of the plants I started from seeds, followed closely by the sunflowers and zinnias. My hops is going crazy! It is really a pretty plant. The moss roses, daisies and pansies are exploding with color all over the deck. I will have to get some more pictures, if the storms ever stop,,,,

I hope to move my hydrangeas tomorrow to a less sunny spot. I hope I can find them a better place to be. I hope that they don't die... I have some fertilizers and stuff from the nursery that will help them.... cross your fingers for me.

Well I am doomed! Thank goodness that it is just in one flower bed! I don't even know where it came from!

Be careful of the Bind Weed aka wild morning glory, it is almost impossible to get rid of and it will take over your garden. White roots grow underground and a tiny piece left in the ground will grow and don't let it go to seed it will spread like wildfire. I brought it home in a plant and I've been fighting it ever since.
