Well, we finally had some good rain yesterday...not that drizzly stuff we've been getting lately. So it was off to the veggie garden to pull up weeds. We had put down roll roofing in the aisles so most of the weeds were creeping up from underneath. After the rain, the weeds came out nice and easy. Wasn't able to get in the yard at all this past week since I hurt my back last weekend. Walked like I had a pole stuck up my rear and was quite painful. But after resting it, using the heating pad, lots of drugs and exercise, I feel pretty good today. Pulled out all the radishes and finally we are getting some tomatoes. The pepper plants are not doing all that great due to the up and down weather we have been getting. They need lots of warm weather. Tomorrow going to plant a few more perennials and then do some lasagna garden type areas so they are ready for next year.
