I love this site and seeing everyone's pictures, even as much as it inspires me, it makes me feel like a grain of sand on the beach.  I work pretty hard in my gardens and I think they are so pretty, then I see what everyone else has done and I feel like I'm not trying hard enough.  I get so many ideas from garden share that I sometimes am overwhelmed and feel I'll never have enough energy or time to do it all.  Onset of yet another birthday has me self-evaluating and wondering if I can keep up with the gardens I've created.  I'll keep going at it and applying the Ben-Gay and hot/cold packs though because I SIMPLY CANNOT HELP MYSELF!

It has become very difficult to garden like I used to since the old back has given out and the doctor just told me I have to wear sunscreen #30 at all times but somehow I get out even if I have to hobble around because my gardens, nature, critters, sunshine always makes me feel healthier.

Looking through the stack of seed packs I have here and trying to figure out where to put everything without building yet another flower bed.  It's all so beautiful in my head that even the thought of all that mulching, weeding, deadheading, cutting back, watering, can't stop me.  I'm hooked so hard on the magic of gardening that I might need to join GA (gardener's anonymous) LOL!

Same here!!!! So many ideas! I try to sit back and enjoy, and find myself wanting to do more and change things. I tend to move plants too much and buy plants I don't know what to do with. A friend of mine said that gardens are always evolving. She is right!  As things grow conditions change. I have tried to make a point of just doing a few plants a year and sit back and enjoy as the garden grows and evolves. Take lots of pictures and put them in folders by year and see how it changes over time. It's fun to look back at the early years. I know it's easy to get carried away and lose track of time, but if gardening gets you really sore, work in shorter segments stopping to sit back and relax. : ))))

The wonderful part about being a gardener is knowing that with a little work, a little care, and a lot of faith, you will have something beautiful emerge from nothing more than dirt. And if you don't get it just the way you want, wait, the seasons will change and the time will come again for you to start all over armed with what you've learned. One seed at a time, one season at a time, it will all come together.

In terms of this site, I agree. There is something special that has been sown and is beginning to grow. I will be curious to see just how much we all reap from what has been sown.
