Did you know...that you should never plant an orchid directly into a metal or glazed pot??  Orchids leaves and roots are extremely sensitive to those materials and your orchids will not flourish in them, or even worse die.

Always plant the orchid in a plastic or non glazed clay pot, then put that in your decorative pot.

Birdbath and Tulips, Fern against ivy wall in our garden.

The ivy wall is over a fence put up by our neighbor. My daughter surprised me with this birdbath and the Tulips are because I'm from Holland. We have a long way to go on the garden but at least we have the flowers started!

"I have a problem with voles and they LOVE tulip bulbs but don't bother the daffodils at all.  I have planted my tulips for the last two years in wire baskets and they are doing well! "
