7:30 a.m. I look outside at a foggy, foggy morning. Cold but sunny. Not a lot left to do out in the yard. Bring up some firewood, winterize the powered lawn equipment, mulch a couple newly transplanted bushes. Going to turn my thoughts to the holidays for a few weeks and then I will allow myself to start getting excited about spring. To be honest, I'm already a little excited and that's saying a lot since, it takes something pretty intense to excite or surprise me these days. I think that's why the pull is so strong to play in the dirt, let's the little kid in me come out to play. Hell, I'm even looking forward to prunning the trees in January because I CANNOT wait to see how/if I can make a mark on Mother Nature's pallet.
