Hi everyone. Ever since I tumbled upon this site I have been focusing on the back yard because it was such a mess as you saw in the video. I have three beds redone and the back of the garden I am just taking care of what I have so far. I have many plans for next spring, but for now having been inspired by all of you I at least cleaned it all out. I have never shared my front garden. As you can see I do have a lot to take care of but it is all worth it. Now that summer is coming to an end and I return to teaching all I ask for is the energy to water and care for what I have begun to rebuild this summer. In the front I have a cactus garden, which by the way also had been let go and some plants are dying. I don't know if should just give up or keep trying. I mean common on kill a cactus!!!!! Well welcome to my home from the front view. The chairs on the patio were my very first garden art project 7 years ago. I built an album of the front of my home. Please visit any time. Your suggestions and comments are always appreciated. Thank you all so very much for being a part of this little corner of my life. I will continue to visit, get ideas and share.

Welcome Norma! I too, am new to this wonderful, refreshing site - yes, probably an answer to prayer! Your pictures are a wonderful example of Texas! Where is this located in the state?

Norma, the front looks wonderful, very welcoming. And I love the chairs! Don't give up on the cactus, a little love and patience and they may come back.
