I have been visiting but haven't been able to post. I just want to say thank you to all my new friends ( who whould have ever thought it) who encouraged me this summer and have shared their love of gardening with me as well as a tiny piece of their lives. When I found this site I became reenergized and motivated to get back out into what I once enjoyed. I obviously didn't get to do all I wanted to do this summer but it looks so so much better. My summer is just about over and I don't get to spend as much time in the garden as i'd like when I get back in the classroom. However coming here will keep me inspired. I yet have so much to learn. Your gardens are like mini paradises that I can visit at any time and for that I say thank you. I still have a few weeks, so who knows maybe i'll tackle another area. Lately i've been just trying to keep what I have alive with this heat. I also thank you for taking an interest in my pictures. I have had so much fun sharing what God has blessed me with. I look forward to making more friends and getting to know the ones ive made even better. May you have a fantabulous day in your gardens or wherever you may chose to be today!

When do you start back up teaching? Where? in Atkins?
I a contracted science teacher so I go where they hire me. I'm going out on Tuesdays to Converse, Thurs. to Sea World, Fridays to Huebner and Bitters. It keeps me pretty busy.

Isn't it amazing, we wait and wait for summer and now we are on the downside. Our summer has been rather unusual, mostly in the low 80s, high 70s. Where I live no rain to speak of for at least 6-8 weeks, but the garden is doing great due to my watering. Getting ready to order bulbs to plant in fall. You have done a great job restoring our gardens. Enjoy the rest of summer.
